What a challenging but powerful read. This is definitely a perspective we don't get to hear often enough. I have nothing but respect for Roxane Gay for telling her story without pretending to have found peace about it, without romanticising it and how she points fingers in a very subtle way.

❤‍🩹 Since there are no cns at the beginning, I just want to say if you are sensitive to detailed calorie descriptions, I recommend to skip chapter 46, and if you struggle with explicit depictions of bulimic strategies please skip chapter 57
