Art was fabulous, characters were great, plot was okay.
Favorite part was the pun and word play filled rogues gallery at the end.

Oh Chip Zdarsky you sly devil! He basically created a gay version of Masters of the Universe which is fully of witty and over the top humour that it leaves you both breathless and thrilled by the whole thing! Also Kagan McLeod's art is wonderfully colourful and full of endless character moments that its awesome ride!

This was okay but fairly forgettable. It's got good vibrant art and goes for an 80s action cartoon vibe but lacks enough substance to be memorable. Also, the humour missed the mark for me feeling more forced and less effective than his Howard the Duck or Sex Criminals stuff. No regrets reading it but I won't be picking any more up in a hurry.

The art is definitely vibrant and wild, but the pin-up style was very distracting. It's nice that the men were not immune from the skin-tight uniforms and loving booty shots, but it got tiring very quickly.
While Keith was annoying (and your stereotypical "witty gay"), I did like that he didn't want to return to Earth because he had nothing left for him there. And I did like the fake-out ofincluding the alternate cover of Keith and Lance fighting the fusciamonster even though Lance is killed immediately .
Otherwise, it's not very funny and not very interesting.

I LOVED this! It was so much fun; hilarious and endearing. Can't wait for the next volume.

OKaaay. "Different"? Yet not - it's classic space-travel-crash. But fabulous characters with twisted reasons for what they do...
"the shithole wizard, Melvon. And a cat-woman and a silver ball, a man with fantastic hair, a skinny dude, and a soldier guy with a nice beard and a duck helmet." - a homophobic Glomp

You'll want to at least take a look at this; it's hard to tell if it's going to do anything special, but for the time being, it's like old Masters of the Universe episodes filtered through an LSD/violence/porn matrix.
