I liked the themes Yong explores, but his writing style just doesn't connect with me in terms of what I like to read in poetry. It's me not the book etc. Love the concept of the Ten Courts segment tho

While the start of this prose poetry, I have to admit I did not expect much.

But it was a build up to the center piece of this visual and contrasting sense of harsh reality and irony of it. I wouldn't say I loved it, but there were a few times I would linger a lot longer just hovering over the words I have read and digesting it.
