This is a wonderful collection of little mini-zines that Sarah put out over a year and a bit.

Each one is unique. Each one displays her thoughts, each one has a message. Sometimes the message just about what things she saw when she took her walk. Other times, it is much deeper than that such as what to do when you are full of despair.

The nice thing is that after putting out this book, she continued with doing zines, which she posts online. She has since written about 'If all Public Services worked like healthcare in America" as well as "Quaran-zine"

A totally worthwhile book to muse thorugh.

I am a HUGE fan of Sarah Mirk, and this zine series captures her tone perfectly- witty, poignant, political, timely. She posted these comics almost daily on instagram for a year, and I enjoyed them so much. Highly recommend reading these stories, either in book form or online, and looking into her other work.

These are so great. Love the variety. I read most of these zines as they came out over the year; enjoyed getting to revisit them and feel inspired. 365 in a row and she never phoned it in!

This book is for every person who’s ever had a thought they wanted to share with others. This book is for anyone who’s ever wished it were easier to do that. Sarah Mirk made 365 zines, one every day for a year, and the contents of this book are but a selection of those zines. We see zines from when Sarah write and drew about the mundane, about major personal events (a bike accident that injured both hands—and yes, the zines continued!), about political crises, about hope, despair, climate grief, cats, relationships, and every every everything else. The book is nicely rounded out with instructions for how to make a one-page zine, and suggestions for how to work with others, how to get people to see your zine, and suggestions for where to find more zines. Highly recommended - it was just what I needed to read in my covid-quarantine-brain-space. Hope! Making whatever to see you through! Yeah!!!!!!!
