I will read a terrible book through to the end, even if I have to skim like a fiend. Not this one. Nope!
Sexy, rugged, and dominant are one thing. Abusive with a total disregard for a woman as anything other than a hole? Not acceptable.
This could have been a great storyline with our FMC (Emery?) wanting to have our MMC (I don't even remember his name, so let's call him F*ckface) kill her, while F*ckface likewise is in a bad spot financially with a gang/multiple gangs/feds (who the hell even knows at this point?). But that first slap had me pissed, and that awkward AF threesome had me noping straight out.
DNF @ 41%. I just couldn't anymore.

Enjoyable
This is the very first book I have read by this writer. I enjoyed reading this. Didn't realize it was a cliffhanger but that is ok because I definitely want to read the next one to see what happens. Characters were enjoyable. Storyline was gripping from beginning to end great suspense and twists and turns. Highly recommend.
