I have not seen the movie but had been debating as to read the book. I saw it on my friend's shelf and she said she was going to read it but hadn't started. I found a copy at the thrift store (where it seems I have been lucky to find lots of books in like new condition)bought it.. and could not put it down once I started!

I really enjoyed this ending. Every character had layers it was great. Except their falling in love "love story" did have a lot of depth to it. Very well written

One of the better novels I’ve read in a really long time. The story itself is very interesting, and while not wholly suspenseful, the narrators (yep, you guessed it – audiobook version!) are remarkable. Young and old Jacobs narrate back and forth, and when I got towards the end, I literally would spend my lunch hours just riding around so I could listen to how the story would conclude. Pick up the book ASAP – you won't regret it.
