I enjoy these discworld books. This one has a bunch of Shakespeare references. I like the twisting/changing of fate in this one.

I really didn’t expect to like this one as much as I did - I thought the wizards would be my favorite, but as of right now it’s the witches! They won me over. Might need to give Shakespeare a read…

a good book to bring me out of a two month long reading slump. An absurdist love letter to Macbeth spliced with a thorough exploration on how the line between words and reality can become blurred - the character of the duchess, though largely played for a joke, is genuinely terrifying at one moment towards the end. I love Granny Weatherwax, she continues to be an icon.

A loose re-interpration of MacBeth (which amde me realise I realy really do not know the plot of MacBeth), a coup in Lancre sees the rightful heir (bebe) whisked away to hide in safety among a troupe of actors. Meanwhile the witches (Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat) very decidely don't get involved in politics...not at all...no interfering
This was witty and a great commentary on the magic of words! Just a fun time overall
