3 days after finishing best served cold I’m suffering heavily from a severe case of Nicomo Cosca withdrawal.
Like previous books in the amazing First Law universe, best served cold is another thrilling adventure with wonderful characters and terrific humor.
With every book Joe Abercrombie writes I’m becoming more and more a fanboy.

In the words of the famous poet Yungblud:
I love Joe, will you marry me?
Oh, what a shame we gotta pay for reality
Ain't it sad, sad, sad?

A thrilling roller-coaster of a revenge story who's twist don't quite lend themselves to re-reads.
  •  “You should laugh every moment you live, for you'll find it decidedly difficult afterwards.”
  •  “My name is Nicomo Cosca, famed solider of fortune, and I am here for dinner.”
  •  “Have a smile for breakfast, you'll be shitting joy by lunch.”
  •  “You make yourself too hard, you make yourself brittle too. Crack once, crack all to pieces.”
