Really wanted to like it. Felt like she was forcing the joke most of the way through.

An adorable actual LOL memoir with taxidermy stories that even a vegan (me!) could love

This is the first book that I haven't actually finished.
Other than the chapter on working in HR and dick pictures, just a total mess. For all of the fake editor comments she actually needs one, it's just forced, trying-too-hard blog entries.

If you have the opportunity to do so, listen to the audiobook version of Let's Pretend This Never Happened. It's read by Jenny Lawson and it's beyond hilarious. I'm sure I looked like a crazy person laughing alone in my car...totally worth it.

Hilarious; I actually cried during some stories, I was laughing that hard. Not a good pick if you get offended easily; literally nothing is off limits when you read Jenny Lawson. Comparable to David Sedaris but much more outrageous. I will definitely be reading her other book.

I am in love with Ms Jenny Lawson! In a stalkerish, I've never met her in real life way, but I'm sure we'd be able to go out and get a drink and buy stupid stuff together type of way.
Absolutely loved this book. Sure, there are some duplicates from the blog, but it works.

Jenny Lawson and I are soul cousins. I think in a previous life we were actual sisters, and we probably unintentionally toppled empires with our secret awesome powers of irrational deduction. She is hilarious. The audiobook is the way to go, narrated by Jenny herself. Great read.
