I really enjoyed this picture book in verse (which I'll add book info for soon). It covers the life of Josephine Baker as she broke into showbiz, went to France to escape segregated performance spaces, became super famous, and started the Rainbow Tribe. (Thanks to this book, I also noticed a nod to Kosephine during a recent rewatch of the animated Anastasia movie!).
