The rivalry between these two was a bit silly. All because of their employers. Neither wanted to own up to their attraction. Boys!

This otherwise excellent story is too long. Many of the repeated scenes from the two point of view become tedious and added unnecessary length. I'll add more when I finish the story. Over all I like it.
Ok. Finished it. Really liked the main characters, the plot is sufficiently complicated, and even the secondary characters are fully formed. I found the story, particularly in how it portrayed two secretive and paranoid men begin a relationship, intriguing. Mark, more than Quinn, strikes me as likely a psychopath. He kills easily and without a hint of regret or conscious. Necessary, I suppose, in his job. His resistance to Quinn, or any close relationship, makes for an interesting read. Still, the too frequent regurgitating of the same scenes, I found boring after a while. Also the flow of the story was a bit choppy. Otherwise, I'd give this five stars, something I rarely do.

3.5 Starts I don't know why but it seems a lot of the books I have read lately, in series, don't finish the story in the book but requires you to read the next to find out how it ends; more like serials than series. This book, unfortunately, falls into this same category. However, I found myself not minding as much. Though I was a little thrown by the structure of the book with the repetitive view points and felt some of it was redundant, the banter between Mark and Quinn was entertaining and the sex hot. I was slightly disturbed by Mark's job in "canceling" people and how casually he treated it. Quinn even questioned
SpoilerShaw's death and Mark's involvement in it
. I wonder how it will play out when or if he finds out the extent. I'm looking forward to reading the next book to see how their relationship progresses.

I liked the work with all the characters; I enjoyed the mind fuck games between Vincent and Mann. I was really interested in the mystery/spy plot ... after having overcome a changing POW that anchors too much in redundancy. I hope this improves in future instances.

I could have done without reliving every event twice from each perspective. Just once is fine. Let the mystery be - no need to explain everything.

ooh, this was amazing. i loved their chemistry. the writing was very good; even the minor characters seemed alive. a great beginning to a series, and i'm sure the rest will be just as good.

Enjoyed this more than I was expecting to and unlike some enjoyed the dual pov. I liked seeing how Quinn and Mark viewed the same incident. Interesting how Tinnean was able to intertwine her two series and loved meeting with theo and the boys again.

I liked the characters but it was kinda boring. Wished it was more focused on the "romance" story then work and other stuff.
