I knew of Oskar Schindler, but had not read a story of his work to save the Jews within his factory. This book is heartbreaking and somber in many ways, but does well at reminding youth that the ideas of hatred and prejudice are still present today and they have an active role to play in combatting it with courage and love.

Very good book from a young adult perspective. Excellent for younger readers / audiences to better understand the Holocaust at an age appropriate level.

A good introduction to the Holocaust. Reads more as a transcript of her speech than a traditional memoir. Her message is more relevant today.

this was a good, informative, simple story of a young girl in WWII. I enjoyed it and I’d recommend for young readers getting into the historical genre
