I had forgotten how tight writing could be.
Flawless.
Perfectly cut ruby.
I will read or listen again and again and again.
I loved Miss Marple and Hercules Poirot so much that I never started reading Tommy and Tuppence until now. Am I ever glad I have new Christies to read!

Minus a tenth of a star because it's now 100 years later and romance doesn't play quite the same...
Plus any number of stars you'd care to name for the spectacular reading by Nadia May.

"I've been thinking..."
"Shades of feminism!"

“The Secret Adversary” was the 2nd read of the Read Christie 2024 challenge and this time we follow the Young Adventurers Tommy and Tuppence.

I already knew parts of the stories from the BBC series “Partners in Crime” but forgot most of the plot
