I really enjoyed this book and I think it’s because I’m a simp for Mitch Malone and I understand April in a lot of ways. I loved their chemistry and how Mitch and April understood each other so clearly. My one and only gripe was that April refused to believe Mitch when he said there hadn’t been anyone else for a long time in his sights. I heard him loud and clear and yet April still thought being 8 years older than him was a huge dealbreaker and fueled the neighborhood gossip mill. That made me want to throw my book because it went on for so long.

This was definitely a return to form! I loved this book, it was just as adorable as the first in the series. The romance was gorgeous and both the main character and the love interest were lovely. The supporting characters were great and there was heaps of character development as well as humour and fluffy romance. Definitely recommended.
