Not great, but good enough as a thriller and a police procedural. The problem is the plot's reliance on coincidence to keep things moving along, mostly as in the right people being on the scene at the right time with the right training and necessary sangfroid to do the needful in pretty extreme situations. The pages keep turning, it's a quick read, nothing to take very seriously.

What an okay novel. This is a thriller that I’d expect to grab off a supermarket book shelf and was just a little generic. I can’t give more praise or feedback as, for me, this was just a little generic. 3-stars.
