It's difficult to rate this book with any confidence since I'm still working on my first novel and can't speak from experience. But as an aspiring novelist, I found this book encouraging in ways that helped show me how to structure the storytelling process. The advice is practical, specific, and builds on itself throughout. It's the kind of advice that I think will help when I'm uncertain what should come next.
