The best Carr I've read in a while. The characters are stock and not very developed, but then characterization never was Carr's strong suit. The setting is genius and atmosphere is very well done, and the solution to the locked and sealed room is brilliant. A fun impossible crime mystery, as long as you are not scared of snakes.
