I received a ARC copy of this book in exchange for a review for the blog tour

I did not read the first book in the series "model position" but will get to it in December. Luckily you don't have to read the first one to understand this one so it is a perfect stand alone.

Sienna is in need of a job, she is so desperate that she will even work for the evil man that just fired her best friend. She is determent woman and nothing and no one will walk over her. Sienna is faced for a difficult decision, I think most woman had to make a choice like that one time in their life.

Caz has a dark past, and the only way to keep people away from his heart is to be mean. He likes his games. But it all change when Sienna stand up against him and show him how to love again.

"I see why he likes games. I forgot how much fun they can be."

In the beginning of the book I was confused like hell with the sugar factory and all those things.

I do have to say as the book progress you see how the sugar factory and Caz obsession with sugars places into this. This off course gives the book a total fresh perspective.

"do it for you, too. Use it, Charles. Use it"

Private Internship is a feel good love story with twist and turns along the way. The sex scenes is written perfect and is perfect for someone who doesn't like their books full of steam.

Love does conque all and in the end their love brings thems stronger together.

I give this book 4 stars

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received an e-galley of this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not obligated to write a good review nor did I receive any compensation for writing this review.

The Characters:
Sienna is an aspiring artist in New York who had just landed an internship with the famous artist Cas, but her friend just got fired. She warned her that Cas isn't all that he seems and that's he hiding something. She decides to find out what that secret is.

As a character, I liked Sienna well enough, but she just didn't really stand out to me. I didn't hate her and I didn't love her. She was well-developed though and I thought she was a fairly strong female character.

Cas is a character that's more complicated. He is this mystery. He's a jerk who may not be a jerk. At the beginning, he just seemed like this big playboy, but he grows on you throughout the story.

I for one didn't quite see Sienna and Cas together as much as I wanted to. However, in the end they seemed to be doing okay together. I just wasn't rooting for them.

My Overall Thoughts/Impressions:I thought the novel had a lot of potential. I enjoyed the overall idea and plot. I thought the characters were well-written and yet I just never felt completely sucked into the story. I found myself waiting for something big to happen and I just felt like it never came.

The novel is enjoyable and I'm glad I read it; however, it just lacked that something to make it stick out to me. I guess it's because the relationship between Cas and Sienna just didn't quite ring true for me.

However, it was still a pretty enjoyable read.

So why 3 stars? It was good; it just didn't stand out to me.

Can I read the series out of order? I have not read the first in the series. I think this one can easily be read as a stand-alone.

Warnings/Side-notes: It is definitely New Adult; however, it's not all that graphic.

The Wrap-up: An enjoyable book but one that just didn't quite grip me. Still I'd recommend it for fans of books about art or people who don't mind if there isn't a compelling romance.

Love,

I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest view.

My problem with this book is that I didn't warm to Caz. At all. Harper annoyed me too and that the main lady had a bf (sure, wasn't right for her but books about 'cheating' - in whatever form, physical, emotional etc - annoy me.

That being said it was a super fast read with a nice ended so it gets three stars.

I really enjoyed catching up and finding out what Sienna was up to after book one. She accepted an internship with Caz after Harper had warned her off. It was nice to catch up with Harper and Dave. I liked seeing the relationship between Sienna and Caz grow even though they were both hurt by their past experiences. They were able to break down each other's barriers and be better off for it.
