Even if you are not familiar with Richard Nelson, this book is a wonderful read. The description of his life in Alaska is captivating. The excerpts of Nelson’s journals are emotionally raw and inspiring. Learning how to listen is a fantastic lesson I need to learn.

Didn't enjoy this book because I had no context. Who is Richard Nelson? Went into this book expecting more insight into life in Alaska/nature in Alaska.
