I think this was better than the first book and more exciting. I liked seeing all the relationships progress and the mystery behind everything. I was really surprised who was actually the demon at the end!

While I liked this, there were definitely some flaws. Even just in the writing itself, it felt rushed and unfinished. At times it was confusing because things weren’t explained thoroughly. This is just personal preference, but at times, I felt like the characters were way too whiney.

“Magic is in the air, but you must be willing to let it in.”

This was just an average read for me. I definitely enjoyed the first book in this series more than this one.
