I overall enjoyed this book, but was slightly underwhelmed. Juno and Legs’ friendship is really endearing, but I wish we could’ve seen more of its development and what the friendship was like before
The accident
. Same thing with Juno and her mom’s relationship.  I’m not usually someone who thinks books need to be longer to be better, but I think that more could’ve been added to give more depth to the characters and their relationships. It felt like the story jumped from event to event too quickly, when the heavy nature of the topics called for more emotional development.
