Well written, fast pace, interesting plot - all round very solid read but not addictive in the way I feel 5 star reads are

Actually, it was pretty good ! Even though, it’s not a five star, I can’t wait to read the next book ! Why not five stars? I can’t explain, but something is missing. Or maybe it took some time to set up the context or the plot. But still, the writing of Schwab is perfect, the two-POVs is working and the dark atmosphere gives us a good story. A pity : I guessed some twists so it was not really surprising :’(

I think I have to give this book a 5 star since I read it in a day. Im just such a huge fan of fantasy and thriller. I kind of wish there was an actual romance between the two main characters but I was also very refreshing that there wasnt.

Another book done before the release date! This was a good one but I feel like I should read it again to truly give it a complete review as I have been reading this over the past 3 1/2 months piece by piece. I love Schwab so ill still buy this and perhaps retread it then.
