I stalled a lot while reading this one because of the disconnected nature of the stories. It was almost a short story collection contained to a few Inter-related characters. But the stories were separated enough that I never felt pressed to keep reading. I had my first sustained reading today (~90 pages total) in a long time. Hopefully finishing this one sparks my reading going forward

The story was held together with spiderweb silk strands, haphazard and convenient, rather than necessary. I kept waiting for it to make sense.
