I had a hard time giving this book such a low rating. I love Boise and thus Idaho and I miss it terribly. But the thing is, this isn't a book. It's a series of blog posts about two people's travels through Idaho. There are fantastic pictures that accompany each "chapter", but viewing them on a black and white Kindle is not quite the same as seeing them on a laptop or a PC. There were also links to videos and series of pictures, which I didn't view on my Kindle. I did appreciate the description of each location, along with the description of the people of Idaho.

But ultimately I think the reader is best served by reading this in its original state - on the blog. Clicking through posts made me appreciate and understand each "chapter" more. If you do read this on an e-reader, I highly recommend going to their website to see all the images associated with the chapters. Idaho is a spectacular state, and seeing it in color is so much better than the grainy images I saw.

This "book" made me miss Boise so much, and I'm happy that someone documented some of the reasons I like it.
