Might be that I haven’t read the previous books, but the whole world building annoyed me.
Also events happened too fast and too easily. Considering what little I knew about the aliens how easily the horned one accepted their union didn’t fit. I felt there should have been more of a struggle.
And even a struggle from Lizabeth when she started feeling drawn towards Hisst. And let not forget that Hisst should have struggled with a woman who so freely went from one man to another. Or at least that’s what I think.

I have truly enjoyed every book this author has written but ménage is not really my thing so I opened this one with trepidation. It is, in fact, one of her best, if not the best. The intimate relations between characters are meaningful whilst being hot but the story is really about the relationships between the main characters and it is fantastically written. I was deeply disappointed when it finished because I was enjoying it so much.

I really loved this alliance. I’m not usually a fan of multiples. Really enjoyed the icluthian world building. I have a soft spot for lizard men. I’m a fan of meoraq. The author has become a automatic one click for me. I highly recommend this book and series
