Interesting insight into personality types that can be applied to both relationships and friendships. Slow read

I found Fisher's personality types more interesting and pragmatic than MBTI. It's very helpful for self-understanding and understanding people around you. Also by thinking of four personalities in terms of dimension really helps to explain the contradictory traits in personalities, which I haven't yet found other tests could do.

Picked up this book based on a suggestion that it interacts nicely with MBTI. Meh.
It puts people in four categories and explains why they love the way they do. It was interesting, but boring all at the same time. Written by the woman who is the scientific adviser for Chemistry.com, a dating website

While I enjoyed reading Dr. Fisher's theories of romance, I can't say I'm entirely convinced. Parts of her argument read as rather circular, and the categories felt a little black and white at times. But her perspective certainly provides some food for thought, and I found the chapters targeting how we meet and choose those we love fascinating.
