These poems are a whirlwind. The quirky, bloody imagery - bees like cigarette butts, the sun spiraling down - is going to haunt me for a long while.

I found myself trying to figure out what the poems were about. The onslaught of imagery, while exceptional, obscured the poems, and often failed to transition well. I felt myself floating in a sea of gore and violence with no life jacket. Violence for the sake of violence. Some of Good's poems had awkward starts and ends; starting a poem with "It's weird." immediately pulls me out of it.

That said, once I let go of the desire to know, to understand, I quite enjoyed the feeling of being dragged from one line to the next, curious about what I would read next.
