I cannot read a Charlie and Lila book without an English accent. Fun.

Lola loves to stay up late and this does not make life easy for big brother Charlie whose job it is sometimes to get her bed. Lola comes up with every excuse in the book, but Charlie is patient and goes along with her--secretly tricking her along the way to get her to bed.

Cute story and fun characters. Charlie is the most patient person ever! And he goes along with Lola's excuses, but plays along so that she will move along. Great big bro!

All the wimsy and silliness you might expect from Lola. Charlie is consistently patient and sweet. Fun bedtime read.

Although I don't really enjoy the show or series, my kids love it and that's all that matters.

This library book is on heavy rotation at the moment. We’ve not really watched the series, but the small human is completely enchanted, so we’ll need to check it out :)
