i wanna cry from how much i loved this book. first of all the muslim representation was amazing! secondly, besides zayneb and adams relationship, there were so many important topics discussed and it made everything so real. i love this book so much—and the fact that it’s their actual journal entries *sobbing from how cute they are*

Zayneb is dealing with a prejudiced teacher who equates all Muslims with "bad" people...she calls him out on his behavior, and he starts investigating her and her activist friends. Zayneb's family sends her on her spring break trip to Doha, Qatar early to avoid any problems. There, she meets Adam. Adam has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, but he hasn't told his family yet because they are still grieving the death of his mother. Together, the two come to terms with who they are and what they need from life.
Meh. I almost felt like there was TOO much going on.

First time reading a Muslim love story. I liked it even if I think it’s more meant for people younger than me (I’m not old but the characters are still a bit young for my taste).
I got attached to the main characters that were really well described imo. I would read the next book without any hesitation.
