As a Singaporean, I was excited to read a book on the Zombie Apocalypse set in the tiny island city of Singapore. I enjoyed being able to comprehend the local references. As a Zombie novel, it is typical and I appreciated the non-definitive way the author ended the book. As a local piece of writing, I thought it was good too - bringing in the issues that an everyday Singaporean can relate to in terms of the education system, crowded public transportation, money and housing issues, traffic and so on.

I am actually a fan of Zombie movies and books. Hence, being a Singaporean and a Zombie fan probably makes this review somewhat biased. Nevertheless, it was fun finding out how a Zombie Apocalypse may pan out in Singapore!
