I found the fact that this book is over-sized off-putting for some reason. I also didn't like that the pages turned horizontal instead of vertical. Thought the illustrations were interesting though.

Re-read this for my Y3 thing.

I really liked it and its short enough for a 20 minute session. I will come back to this again!

I hated the story and illustrations both.

The artwork is not my favorite style but the story has its charms. The text felt very disjointed from scene to scene though--I kept having to check to see if I missed anything.

A fun story of a lion travelling around Paris. Illustrations in collage and oversized format make it even better!
