Powerful. Simple language, short short chapters, but packs a punch. Remember to read the chapter titles, too.

this book was so beautifully heart breaking. it truly brought you the reality of everything.
we hear many stories of young girls being sold into prostitution and many of us have the privilege to not understand. our main character was a fighter. her stepdad sold her into prostitution and our main character had no idea. she had to leave her mother, little brother, and all that she loves. however she thought she was going to the city to be a maid. she could have ever imagined she would be sold and make money by selling her body to men.
now this book i absolutely loved the set up. the chapters were short. the book was short. the relationship you build with the characters is unbelievable. the twist and turns of this book um yes.
now this book would have been a 5 star for me but i didn’t love the ending. i would have loved the book to come full circle. where our main character goes back to her family, the stepdad has something horrible happen to him, every bad character gets karma etc.
but i know for many girls/women in this situation don’t get this. they end up being thrown in the streets, die, etc.
this book truly describes this worldwide situation in a light that needs to be talked about more often and
because of this i give the book 4.5 stars everyone go read it!
