Very interesting! Some points are a reach (which is something they admit to in the introduction) but o has a lot of merit. Alastair Robert’s is masterful, it’s great to see a Durham man doing big things, Wilson is always great. Would recommend.

Fascinating and eye-opening.
Rich and engrossing.
And beautifully written too.

Really helpful in getting a better handle on the entire storyline of the Bible and to see the melody of exodus themes throughout.

Left me wanting to open my Bible and read it more intently and eagerly - which is always one of the best outcomes of reading a good Christian book.

This is also a book worth returning to when beginning to study a particular book of the Bible - to be reminded how it might reflect Exodus themes in its pages.

Special mention: It has a scripture index at the back! (Something that ought to be included in every Christian book to make its pages more quickly accessible in future.)

A highly recommended read!

So much I love about this book. It is beautifully written with a forward-moving drive and cadence. Some of the specific Exodus “echoes” might be a stretch for some, but it’s clear that this redemptive theme is peppered throughout Scripture. In some ways, I felt this was too short of a book; I would’ve given the authors 100 more pages to unpack. Still, this is a devotionally rich book that will cause you to worship the God who rescues us from slavery to sin and will one day take us home to the Promised Land.

Such a short and easy read. I couldn’t put it down! I think this book is not meant to convince the reader of each of its individual assertions but to show how often this theme seems to appear in Scripture and to create a hearty affection for the God of the exodus. The authors were extremely successful on these points. Would recommend to anyone interested in seeing the unity of message of the Scriptures.

I felt the "echoes" were overdone in many ways, which detracted from the overall purpose of the book.

James Jordan has cast seed and the fruit of its growth is sweet. A wonderful book.
