I didn't like the conclusion of this story as much as the first two novellas. Still, I'd recommend this series to anyone looking for a sapphic fantasy romp with a very episodic feel!

My misgivings with the third volume started with the sex scene at the beginning. It just really didn't do it for me, writing or timing wise, despite reading these novellas back to back. Honestly, the whole story felt a bit rushed in the end and heartfelt character moments were far and few between. I really wish there had been more time spent on getting to know the characters that were introduced at the end of the second book, as well as their place in the world.
The high stakes fell completely flat, and there was simply no nuance in the denouement. I'm all for a happily ever after with a dash of uncertainty, but honestly, I was left dissatisfied with a lacklustre conclusion.

What a perfect ending to this series of novella's! I still love the worldbuilding so much, and how Aspen and Charm's relationship developed was great to me ^^ I definitely think I will return to this series for a reread in the future.
