It was good and had surprising twists throughout the story.

I enjoyed a lot of this book. But listening to the last hour or so of the book was a little preachy about the battle between good and evil. Not exactly what one expects from a young adult action type book. But it was a good ending to the series nonetheless.

Last rubbish book in a rubbish series by Patterson Inc - I started on the quest to read all of Patterson some time back and I tell you there are moments you just want to give up especially with dribble like this. James what are you doing man? Get it together. There were some decent ideas and execution once upon a time, what happened? Stop trying to publish a book every other day with a different person writing it and go back to the open yourself! Less is more....

There is a lot I didn't like about this book so I will try to sort it out.

Things I didn't like -
-There was too much action. Much more than I like.

-It was really complicated and therefore I did not know what was going on a lot of the time (I cannot say that's the book's fault because it is actually my fault I started with the sixth book and not the first book)

-At one point, Dana, Emma and the rest were completely left out.

-The whole book was overly drastic!

-And Daniel had too many powers (sorry).

Things I liked -
-The things that made sense (which is mostly nothing so I'm not going to try and list them here)

-Daniel defeated (?) Number 1 in the end.

Yes, that is pretty much all I liked about this book.
Lights Out was a big disappointment and if I ever re-read it I will read the series IN ORDER!!
I can't say I would not recommend it either because technically I haven't even read the entire series yet. Like not even the first book.
