The romance is subtle in this but it's a good read. I loved getting to read about the fundamentalist cult Elizabeth is in and the dynamic between her, the three other wives, and Thomas.

This book is really good.
A bit out of my comfort zone but so insightful.
Sister wives living within a cult.
Elizabeth is married to Thomas a much older man, who has three other wives.
She is allowed to get a job outside the community and this is where things change for her.
Triggers may include, bullying, beatings, rape, though not frequent, there are a couple of scenes, not huge detail but enough.
Evan was amazing.
HEA.
I would have liked a bit more detail of Brittany's demise.
There are secondary characters that could have possible future storylines.

The family dynamics are amazing! I was in awe at the sheer coordination it took to run this huge family. I was engrossed and read it quickly. I had some unanswered questions. I don’t want to spoil it. I really liked the hero and heroine. The secondary characters almost stole the show-
Trudy, Jackson, Leah, Daria, and even Brittany. I was not satisfied by some things. It was a good story. I would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely loved this book. I was riveted from page 1...couldn't put it down. I've read a few nonfiction books and memoirs of women from Mormon polygamist backgrounds, and most of the time this book felt like that. Like it was a true story and I was just reading Elizabeth's actual account. My heart broke for her and the rest of her family (minus Thomas...definitely no heartbreak for him). I absolutely loved Evan from the start, he was absolutely perfect. I won't say anything else so I don't give too much info away, but I'll just reiterate that this book is fantastic and I devoured it in basically 1 sitting. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author!
