I loved the rawness of the poetry and found myself relating to a lot of it. It’s sad and reflective and leaves one feeling more in touch with their pain, be it physical or emotional. I liked the rhythm and the fluidity of some poems in this collection, but failed to grasp a liking to most of it because of this perpetual style. With some of the poetry I personally wish the poet had built a more structural form  to them. I struggle with modern poetry because of its simplicity in form and word choice, but can grow accustomed- and well acquainted to it with certain works. This poet has a deeper, more complex meaning to bring forth to younger generations and has certainly made a mark in my personal (albeit mental) library!
I do recommend it to people who like to explore modern poetry, but don't suggest this particular work to people who struggle/suffer with certain sexual and/or traumatic elements.
