Very silly. Reminded me of Lemony Snicket or something Roald Dahl would write.

Looooong! So long. The farts were kept to a minimum, unlike the first book in the series. Nilly and Lisa head from Norway to France. Using their time traveling bathtub they visit Napoleon at Waterloo, Joan of Arc at the stake and bicyclist and spectators at the Tour de France. So, while I was reading his hair-brained, incredibly long story of a time-traveling bathtub, what I found is that we were actually learning. Now... On to clean my palette before starting the third book in the fart powder series.

i loved this book i think every kid should read it! i got called childish because i read it but it was just because it says fart in it but you should read it it has more imagination in it that you would have to be a kid to understand it!! This book brilliantly weaves together elements of romance, humor, renowned historical settings, unrequited love, bittersweet ending, and more within the pages of a cleverly written children's story. It's truly exceptional.

This was epic. I think this is even better than the first book in the series. The book is a bit heavy on the history, considering it's for children, but my son quite liked it, as he's a bit of a history buff. Anyway, the story was interesting, full of twists and turns and rather odd bits of humour. There's real drama and emotion, as well. Jo Nesbø is quite the genius, both in his books for adults and for children. Highly recommended!
