I listened to this on audiobook and kept spacing out but still enjoyed the reveal. Very Poirot. I had expected this to be more Christmasy though.

I wasn't feeling this one, until the twist at the end, which was really quite good.
But the tone overall was pretty heavy and full of family drama and stock characters... definitely not as witty or enjoyable as others.

This mystery had unexpected (albeit perhaps a bit too many) twists, and the characters were all very interesting! Overall I liked it, but I’m not sure murder mystery is a genre I want to read often.

Agatha Christie continues to surprise and delight with her magnificent twist endings! This book’s pacing was a little slow in the middle, but it was more than made up for with a locked door mystery, a room full of plausible suspects, and the frigid atmosphere of the house.

This was not my favourite Agatha Christie novel. The pace was slow and drawn out. There were a number of coincidences and outlandish explanations. A family patriarch is dead and the family is gathered in the home. Poirot turns the case around to identify the guilty party. At times, it required a suspension of belief. Overall, a fair effort!

As always, a twisty Agatha Christie mystery! This might be one of the first times I have guessed the murderer correctly - or maybe I am just getting better at picking up on clues!
