It’s Christmas and Grace is on her way home to Sedona. It's been 25 years since THEY left and Grace is all grown up. She is the alien human hybrid child of Kara and Greyson. She now has siblings from Kara and Lance but she has never really been able to accept Lance as her dad and always feels disconnected from her family. She never really opens herself up in her relationships cause how would they react if they found out what she was?

Her father sacrificed himself to save her mother and her friends at the base near Sedona. So why does she now have an overwhelming urge to go to the base? She finds a pod with a male inside. She knows its madness but she opens the pod just before it fails and takes the male home with her. They figure out that he was a prototype for another version of a hybrid super-soldier, since her fathers version was deemed flawed. Now named Logan he and Grace slip into an easy relationship, there is such a strong attraction. They do not admit what he is to her family as she knows the reaction they would get.

But when the psychics in the family admit they know what Logan is they have to begin investigating what Logan is there for and if he poses a threat to them and Grace in particular. Will she lead herself to heartbreak or can Logan heal the rift between the group?

A fantastic addition to the series. I did feel a bit distant from Grace at the beginning as she just seemed such an ungrateful brat - Lance is the only father she has known and she admits that he hasn't shown favouritism towards his natural kids but she still feels distant from him. But as the book unfolded I got what she felt that way. I loved the book and I really hope that there will be more from this series!!!
