I liked it. It was enjoyable, and the STEM stuff was really cool. The author clearly has a very strong scientific and academic background. However, I probably won’t revisit this book. Furthermore, some of the flirting from the female MC—in my opinion—was very problematic. (Minor spoilers ahead.) ||She asks for an informative interview for a grad school assignment, which the male MC accepts. During this interview, she flirts with him because she feels like she picking up a vibe, which is fine. But at one point, when he’s freezing up/giving mixed signals, she decides to back off and make light of the rejection…by asking for a follow-up email (ok, normal) and then joking that she won’t send nudes after. If a guy had done that, it would be incredibly inappropriate. I think it was highly inappropriate for her to say, too. I think there were a few lines like that,|| but otherwise it was other cute—albeit pretty trope-y.
