This book was just like reading a Christmas film, it was beautiful! I truly felt as though I was in Cornwall.

We had some big characters return from the series but you definitely didn't need to read the other books to understand what was going on, the author did a perfect job of reintroducing the characters and blending them into the story.

And of course, the characters were absolutely wonderful as always!

The whole book was written in Julianne's POV, which I loved because she was all over the place meaning we got to see so much, and the detail and description that went into this book made it feel SO immersive.

A Cornish Christmas Reunion made me feel all of the feels, but had a perfect happy ending which was just what I needed to read in 2020.

This whole story was just a beautiful Christmas read, it had everything you needed to bring that festive cheer and was truly gorgeous.

This was a nice gentle read. There was nothing wow about it, but there was nothing against it either. The characters were good and the setting was lovely. I liked the relationships between the characters and the overall sense of good feeling.

A Cornish Christmas Reunion - Laura Briggs

Event planner Julianne Rose has her hands full as Cliffs House prepares for the manor's first Christmas open house in decades. But with her husband Matt temporarily teaching on the other side of the Pond and their baby to care for, it's all Julianne can do to focus on the festivities--and she's not the only one. Her friend and former assistant Kitty has a quandary of her own to solve, Pippa has an unruly child demanding sweets, and even visiting Dinah's gingerbread biscuits can't fully cheer them as the holiday grows near. And as the weather threatens to cancel overseas flights, Julianne can't help but worry that her much-anticipated Christmas plans with Matt are in jeopardy.

This is a short and sweet holiday romance - I have read this book as a stand-alone. Whilst there is no introduction to the characters, or any background, it didn't spoil my enjoyment as my main reasoning for choosing this book was that it was a short Christmas novella.

A nice, quick, festive read.
