This book is a comic collection that has 40 people working on the same theme. So there’s a constant change in artistic style and perspective which I really appreciated. It’s informative in both intelligence information and lived life experience.

Some of the inspirational messages seem a little ableist, or assumed people had a strong, healthy support system. But overall enjoyable to read others stories about living in a world that doesn’t accommodate varying neurotypes.

This was a wonderful collection of comics exploring the experience of those of us who are Autistic. It was a great book to start Autism Acceptance Month with. Loved hearing from so many different Autistic voices including both individuals who are self-diagnosed and formally diagnosed. If you want a great intro into the autistic experience this book is a great choice.
