Quite a page-turner and an interesting depiction of the theater and of lesbians in London in the late 1800s. Nancy certainly experiences the whole gamut of the lesbian community. The book contains some pretty explicit sex scenes.

4.5 stars. There were a few pacing issues at the start of the book (although it could just be me procrastinating on reading), but this is a fantastic book about love, loss and love again. I can't wait to read other books by Waters.

This book is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
