An absolutely necessary examination of the idea of “progress” in a society built on capitalism and colonialism and an impassioned exploration of our so called primitive ancestors.

A relatively fresh perspective on progress and civilization. Food for thought.

Very thought provoking and well written. It would be worth a reread in the future. I particularly loved the section on death.

Fascinating and convincing. This will change the way you think about our human ancestors and also how you consider our current state of existence. The environment we have created for ourselves is doing is few favors. The negative impacts created by lack of community resonated with me strongly.
