A great overview on what a 2 decker ship was and the strengths and weaknesses of both the Bonhomme Richard and Serapis. The book also gives good beginner information on how ships at this time were run, and the equipment used, tactics of the battle and strategy for the war. I also enjoyed learning what ultimately happened to each of the captains plus some of the crew.
