Very in-depth and carefully researched. Fascinating glimpse into the original seeds of the counter culture. From crazy psychiatrists to the original drop-outs of society, this book explains where the die was first cast.
Occasionally I got tangled in all the names and their relationships - especially when it started to list who was sleeping with whom. In the end I drew a diagram, because the narrative wasn’t clear enough for my tired little brain.
If you get the chance, and you’re even moderately interested in the origins of post-modern activism, this is worth at least a try.
