This was (gross) great! I loved this graphic novel and could relate to the sentiments on The Little Mermaid and to the multiple dentist visits. I want Addie to read this after she gets braces and not before as it is a little graphic.

I loved the previous two books I have read by this author. I have seen smile around for a few years and finally picked it up. I related with the main character as I also had to get braces because of an overbite. But what she went through with her dental work and middle school was something. It was very entertaining and can’t wait to read sisters.

Raina Telgemeier's graphic novels take me back to my middle school and high school years. She really captures that time well.
Edit: I enjoyed Smile even more the second time around.

I loved this book when I was younger and looking back, I think it really helped me work through having my feet reconstructed. I love Raina !
