Book 2 is a much tighter written book and flowed much better for that. There were still some rewinds but dealing with a couple is fine. Also the info dumps weren't quite so prevalent, making the story go smoother.
The focus this time was on Sam, the police chief, and the girl he let get away in his youth, Penny. The human trafficking theme from book 1 is very faint in this one, as it focusses much more on the relationship of Sam and Penny - and how Sam's ex-wife embroils them in murder, intrigue and brings out the torrid details of her past.
Again, not everyone is as they seem and the picture perfect setting of Dragonfly Pointe has dark currents swirling underneath.

Extended Flight by Tamara Ferguson is the third book in the Tales of the Dragonfly. This is a romantic and suspense book that can be read as a standalone book from the rest of the series. Aaron is a vet who is looking for his sister, who has gone missing. Kiley has escaped an attempt on her life thanks to Aaron being in the right place at the right time. The two have a wonderful connection that is magical at points.
I really enjoyed the characters. Aaron is masculine without being overpowering and too alpha. Kiley is smart and endearing. The two of them will make your heart melt because of the connection they instantly share. I also liked the story had suspense and some twists. This kept me wanting to read more and find out all the ins and outs of the characters.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from Tamara Ferguson.

Tales of the Dragonfly Novel book III Extended Flight By Tamara Ferguson
4 Stars!!!!

I once again have read a series out of order but I wasn't lost or out of sorts. I found that this book really held my attention and left me wanting more. I found that the author was able to weave intrigue and drama through the whole book with a nice sprinkling of romance.

I really found myself going through all the emotions with Aaron and Kiley as they both not only help one another through the intrigue that brings them together but also through the drama. I really found the author was able to intertwine the two stories quite well and roll out the drama. I couldn't put this book down and I really do look forward to reading more from this author and starting this series from the beginning and fill in the gaps.

I adored this story! I knew that I would to be honest because Tamara Ferguson is one of my favourite authors. I love how her books from her other series that take place in the same place have overlapped with this series, her stories intertwine beautifully. I think after every book I say ‘this one is my favourite’ and I’m going to say it again! I was completely captivated by Aaron and Kiley’s story! From the very first page until the last I couldn’t put the book down. I loved that it was a little different to what I was expecting – I love the action, the drama and of course the romance!!
It is without doubt that I would recommend this book to everybody and not just this one I don’t think you will be disappointed by anything this author writes – her stories are amazing, always emotional, thought provoking at times and at the core have the most amazing characters you could want to read about!
I am looking forward to her next book already!!

Wowo! There is A LOT of stuff going on in this book. Make sure you bring your thinking caps. I was confused for about the first three chapters. Then is settled down and I could easily follow along. But about three-fourths of the way through a lot of stuff from the past started coming to light. Now I am not sure if some of these were touched on in the previous two books. If so maybe I would have been able to make connections better.

We are following along on two different stories. One person is afraid of being killed while the other is looking for someone that went missing. They randomly meet and find out they know a bunch of the same people.
Now I really liked Kiley. I would love to have even a small bit of her talent.

This book is full of intrigue, suspense and love. It is well written and the characters all are busy. There is a lot of activity and plots to follow so again.....bring your thinking cap.

Tales of the Dragonfly Book III: Extended Flight is apart of Tales of the Dragonfly series by Tamara Ferguson. Being that this is the third book, it is a stand-alone book. Tamara Ferguson is an awesome story teller. When I read her books, I feel that she engages me as a reader. She wants you to love her characters and to take the journey as she has laid out for them. This story is about wounded warrior named Aaron and his sister who is missing. The story takes place in New York City. There is a bit of suspense with Kiley who has abilities she is hesitant to tell others about. There are two mysteries happening in the story and both are equally engaging. I will leave that for you to ponder while you are reading Extended Flight

I loved this book! This is a creative, engaging story that I couldn’t put down. I loved the characters and the journey they took me on. They are true to life and relatable. This is a story about Aaron who returns home to find his sister missing. When he helps out looking for her, he ends up saving Kiley from her father who is a crime boss. Things really start as they search for Aaron’s sister and find out who is behind wanting Kiley dead. Great characters! Worth picking up! A must read!

Expended Flight is the third book in the Tales of the Dragonfly Series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a contemporary romance, with a wounded warrior element to the storyline. There is plenty of drama, danger, suspense, mystery, and of course a wonderful romance to be found within these pages. Ms. Ferguson is one of my ‘one-click- no questions asked’ authors, as I know that she will always deliver a story that will both move me and entertain me. They are stories that I can lose myself in (in a very good way)- losing track of time and space- as her story holds me in its embrace .
I have read most of Ms. Ferguson's books now and have always enjoyed the experience. But this book seemed to hold me a little tighter, becoming one of my all-time favourites of hers, so far! It was everything I have come to expect from Ms. Ferguson, and yet it somehow managed to creep under my skin a little further than the others.
It’s a captivating instalment in the series, that takes us back to Crystal Rock/Dragonfly Pointe. Each time I open one of Ms. Ferguson’s books it’s like going on a wonderful journey- and I never really know what to expect, because she really has a knack for adding surprising developments and little twists, which keep me guessing!
Ms. Ferguson has a talent for writing stories that entice you further and further into the book, and before you know it you’ve come to the end of a fantastic experience…. so I wonder what she has in store for us next? I can’t wait!

Thank you, Ms. Ferguson!

Tales of the Dragonfly Book III: Extended Flight (Tales of the Dragonfly Romantic Suspense 3)
By Tamara Ferguson

I have read many of this author's stories and they always make me feel like I arrived at home. Her writing is for lack of a better word..Comforting, and I always know when I pick up one of her books that I will need time so that I can read it in one sitting because putting it down is too hard.

So far all of her books could be read as stand alones, I don't even know where I'm at in all her stories but do know that I never feel lost.

This one was no different than the rest as far as keeping me on the edge of my seat while trying to solve the mystery of Aaron’s missing sister, and who is after Kylie. This one had everything in it, and the romance was not too much, not too quick, and never over the top.

I loved having the characters from other books being present and of course as always Crystal Rock feels like home to me.

I loved this book and can't wait to see what's next and I also can't wait to put all these back to back someday and read all of her series in order one right after another :)
