Though not quite at the level of the previous books, a satisfying conclusion to an entertaining series.  This may be in part due to the death of the author.  Children of Tomorrow was written by a colleague following Jones' passing.  The spirit of the story is consistent with the first 2 installments, as were the characters that I came to love.  It was the ultimate (and inevitable) "good vs. evil" battle that left me a little unfulfilled.  The battle was really waged out of sight of the characters and the reader so it felt a little anti-climactic.  However, the entities involved in the final fight for supremacy were cleverly devised and made sense in the grand scheme of the story.  The ending also felt somewhat rushed.  That took away from my satisfaction for reaching the end of a great trilogy, but I was still very pleased overall.

Very good series. This is one that I actually wish had been super long books/more books, though. So much stuff could have been expanded upon - all 3 books felt kind of rushed.
